Snipers (Romance/Action)

"No more questions? How boring." Varl said, and grinned.

Inari snarled, but didn't speak. "I don't... feel well." It was true. When Varl and Skye brought up her mother, it brought a horrible sickness with it. "Zach, would you find them rooms?" She looked up at him almost pleadingly.

"I'll get Char to do it." Zack said to her, and glared at the two. "I'll go with you, Inari."

Inari nodded, "Thanks." She turned her back on the two brothers, and started to walk toowards one of the bedrooms, the one she had fallen asleep in earlier.

"Char." Zack said to no one in particularly.

"What?" Char said, walking out of a shadowed corner.

"Escort these two to their rooms." Zack said to him, and then followed after Inari.

Inari fell heavily onto the bed, coughing slightly at the dust. She flopped her tail into her lap, and sighed heavily.

Zack stood in the corner of the room, arms crossed over his chest, leaning against the wall, and his eyes closed.

Inari asked quietly, "You don't know anything about my family, do you?"

"No, I do not." Zack said to her. "Yet nor do you know anything of mine."

Inari frowned, "Not that you could call my family a 'family' per se. All I have left is my brother. And he's dead or dying."

Zack opened his eyes, and looked up at her. "I'm sorry, Inari."

[GAAH! I've been on the computer all night, but nobody talks to me, so I tend to forget to check my mail and... -sighs-]

Inari shook her head, "It's alright. I haven't seen any of them in so long, I don't even remember their faces. Though I do miss my brother..."

Zack nodded at her, and said, "Sounds like my family. None of them left except a few."

Inari glanced up, "Like Kiko and Tala?"

Yes, like those two." Zack said to her. "Then theres Char, but hes jsut an idiot." Zack seemed to pause for a long moment. "Then...theres Zero and Heero."

Inari's eyebrows raised, "Zero and Heero? Is there a reason their names rhyme?" Then, her eyes widened, "Wait, Zero? YOu know him? He's related to you?" She sat up straighter, looking faintly thrilled.

Zack waited for a moment, before he said, "Yes, Zero is related to me. Heero is his brother, who's name is definently exaggerated. He is no 'hero.'"

Inari frowned, "I know Zero... Well, rather distantly, but I've never heard of Heero."

"how do you know Zero?" Zack asked her.

Inari frowned, "He's been living in the Academy for a while. Didn't you know?"

"No, I don't know where either of them are." Zack then said, "but if Zero is there, they have Heero there, locked under high security."

Inari nodded, and said knowingly, "They keep the high-security experiments close together, though. I can get you there. If you want."

"I do rather hate them, however they would be a great help to us." Zack said to her, and sighed. "Heero never speaks, so he usually uses his fists to talk. Zero is silent, yet speaks when he is pissed. They will be very useful."

Inari nodded. "I know them. They know me. They'll listen." She stood. "Unless... You don't want to see them."

Zack stood in thoguht for a long time, seemingly his attitude had been changing recently. He had become more cautious and calm, yet with that came immense silence, and short sentences. "Might as well."
