Snipers (Romance/Action)

"It was fun...since we watched." Zack said.

"Wheres Tesla and Igor?" Char asked.

"Tesla and Igor are downstairs workin' on their weapons."

Inari rolled her eyes, "Those idiots." She brushed past Zack and Char, going to the front door, "Wanna go see if the Erasers are brave enough to come back yet?"

"All yours, im busy." Char said, walking towards his room.

"Ill come." Zack said. "See if they are brave enough to attack us."

Inari grinned and went outside, walking to the dliff's edge, flaring her wings to warm them in the early morning sun.

Zack watched her. For some reason, his brain was telling him she was beautiful. He didnt know why, but he never did like his brain.

"So, Inari, what plan do you have?" He asked.

Inari shrugged, one ear swiveling around to face Zack, "Do we ever have a plan? Naw... We'll just wing it, as usual." She turned and smiled, "Pun intened, of course." A hand went to her hip and drew her Glock, one eye closed as she looked down the barrel. She was never one for a high-tech scope.

"Yeah, should of known that..." Zack said. "Thats how you usually do it."

INari grinned rather sarcastically, and then fired, ears automatically going back against her head to block out the sound. Several hundred yards away and down, a small rabbit darting across the ground fell dead, collasping in the dust.

"Damn!" Zack said. "Nice shot, Inari. Hell of a shot."

Inari looked over her shoulder and blew a kiss at Zack, before holstering her Glock and taking flight, calling back "You know it!" Then she glided down the dead rabbit, and, knowing that it would probably make Zack throw up, she tore into the rabbit, leaving behind only a bloody skin several minutes later. She took a swig of the bottle of water she had in a pocket, swished it around in her mouth, then spat it our, repeating this action several times to get rid of the blood.

Zack just looked at her. 'Damn, she is beautiful now that I think about it...' Zack thought. Even after she tore into the rabbit, it didnt bother him.

Inari stood, suddenly flared open her wings, turning her black wings and also her face to the sun.

((Yeah. I almost asked, but then dropped it.))

Zack snapped out of it. "You done showin' off?"

Inari rolled her eyes and took off, returing to Zack's side, flipping her wings neatly onto her back.

Zack almost lost it. For some reason, even thoguh they've lived there for a while, Zack actually thought Inari was...No, snap out of it Zack! She is a friend, thats it. "Well, lets wait for the Erasers to show up..if they do."

Inari noticed the look Zack gave her, but she shook it off, thinking it was just her eyes playing tricks. "That's a pretty big if."

"Well, seeing as they are cowards, and wouldnt risk their lives, its a rare chance." Zack said, still trying to get the thought out of his head, but it ws a losing battle.

Inari shrugged again, and walked back along the cliffside, brushing gently against Zack as she did though. She didn't do it on purpose, however.

'Hopefully she cant read minds.' Zack thought. After she brushed against him, he started to wonder if she could.

Inari fluttered over to a small ledge, turning and motioning with her hand for Zack to follow.

Zack went over after Inari motioned him to come over. He just couldnt think straight right then, and nearly tripped trying to get there.

Inari chuckled, and leaned back against the cliff, folding her arms over her chest.

"Damn.." Zack said, blushing. There was truely something wrong with him today. If only he knew what. Besides the fact that he couldnt get Inari out of his head. Something was wrong.
